“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20a)
Mission to the World prepares and serves 460 missionaries serving one year or longer and 1,339 missionaries, interns, and trip participants serving less than a year in about 100 countries around the world. We are committed to the establishment, growth, and maturity of the church. All that we do flows into, rests within, or flows out of the local church.
For example, establishing a new church might require people who can teach local leaders, or evangelize through teaching English, or provide a medical clinic. These ways of serving can reach and equip future leaders and build connections in the community. We work with over 1200 national partners to help strengthen this endeavor.
Serving within the church would be church planters, assistant pastors, disciplers, teachers, and others who directly support the growth and maturity of the church.
Flowing out of a healthy, growing church will be ministries that transform the community and continue to draw others to the gospel message, such as caring for orphans, art and music outreach, or serving refugees.
We have an urgent and ongoing need for church planters; but even if you’re not an ordained minister, you can serve in church planting in myriad ways—in as many ways as God has gifted you. Find out how.

Through good means, like the work of the church, and what we consider tragic means, like pandemics and wars, God is writing the story of His glory that began with the calling of His people 5000 years ago.
God has promised to build His kingdom, but the need for workers in Europe is still great. Although Europe has a rich Christian heritage, only 2.9%* of the population of Europe is evangelical believers. And even where the church is growing, many people are not being discipled in their faith. Europe needs the gospel!
